ENOS JACKSON DIES AT ELDON, APRIL 19

Enos Jackson, a native of Madison county, died Monday, April 19 at his home in Eldon, Ia. He was 66 years of age, and had been in poor health for five years.

Mr. Jackson was a son of Nelson and Almira Jackson, and was born in this county Sept. 15, 1898. He was married in 1938 to Ruth Crow, who survives him.

During World War I he served overseas in France with the Rainbow division, U.S. Army.

In addition to his wife, he leaves two daughters, Mrs. David Taylor of Cedar Rapids and Donna Jackson at home. He also leaves four sisters, Mrs. Maude Gray of Winterset, Mrs. Martha Beall of Oklahoma City, Okla., Mrs. Mabel Eudailey of Oregon, and Mrs. Alta White of Des Moines; and a brother, Odell Jackson of Agency.

Funeral services were held last Thursday from the Campbell Funeral home in Eldon, with the Rev. Clifford Gannon officiating. Burial was made in the Eldon cemetery, with military ritual by the American Legion.
