Charles A. Jackson, Sr., age 57, died of a massive heart attack while at work at the Tingley school, August 16.
He was a Veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict.
On June 13, 1948, he was united in marriage with Lila Livingston, daughter of Mrs. C. E. Livingston and the late C. E. Livingston. They are parents of two children.
Survivors include his wife, Lila; a son, Charles Jr. of Muscatine; and a daughter Pamela Ricker of Chariton; one grandson and his step mother Mrs. Mary Jackson of Creston.
Funeral services were held August 19 at the Methodist Church in Tingley and burial at Winterset Cemetery with military honors.
