1967IVYL 'JACK' IMES OF ST. CHARLES DIES
Ivyl "Jack" Imes of St. Charles died Monday, Oct. 2, at the Veterans' hospital in Knoxville, at the age of 50 years.
Mr. Imes was a son of Floyd and Nella King Imes. He was born in Madison county March 29, 1917 and lived here until 1951, when he entered the Veterans' hospital.
During his active life he engaged in general trucking and farming. He was a member of the Methodist church, and the Masonic lodge at St. Charles.
He is survived by two brothers, Ralph Imes of St.Charles and Bill Imes of Dickens, Ia.; and a niece, Marilyn Reno of Terrill.
Funeral services were held Oct. 4 from the St. Charles Methodist church, conducted by the pastor, the Rev. James Louk. Burial was made in the St. Charles cemetery.
