Jerry A. Hutchison, Winterset

Jerry Allen Hutchison, 61, of Winterset, died of a heart ailment Nov. 15, 1998, at Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19, at Collins Funeral Home in Wnterset with John Long officiating. Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. today (Wednesday Nov. 18) with the family receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. Burial will be at Blair Chapel Cemetery in South Township, Madison County.

Jerry Hutchison was born Feb. 15, 1937, in Martensdale to Allen and Mary (Forbes) Hutchison. He married Linda Corning on Sept. 11, 1958 at Wick, Iowa. Jerry, a retired salesman, lived in Winterset the past three years. He had previously lived in Truro.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one granddaughter.

He is survived by his wife; three sons, Jerry Hutchison Jr. of St. Charles, Mark Hutchison of Spencer and Douglas Hutchison of Peru; one daughter, Melissa Endres of St. Charles; four brothers, Bill Hutchision, Tom Hutchison and Allen Hutchison, all of Indianola, and Bernard Hutchison of Arizona; three sisters, Joyce Stroud of Missouri, Peggy Brommey of Indianola and Mary Lee Gavin of Des Moines, and 10 grandchildren.
