Mabel L. Huglin, Winterset

Mabel L. Huglin, 96, formerly a rural St. Charles resident, died December 1 at Bethesda Care Center where she had resided for the past ten years. Funeral services were held Wed. Dec. 4 at 11 a.m. at Kale Funeral Home in Truro with the Rev. Bob Epperson of Winterset officiating.

Born in Adair County October 3, 1895, she was the daughter of William Edward and Anna (Moor) Simpson. She married Fred Huglin March 9, 1913. She was a homemaker and attended St. Charles Methodist Church.

Mabel L. Huglin was preceded in death by her parents, husband in 1974, three sisters and four brothers.

Surviving are a son, Dale Huglin and wife, Nola of Truro; a grandson and a great granddaughter.

Burial was at St. Charles Cemetery.

FUNERAL SERVICES HELD IN TRURO FOR MABEL HUGLIN, 96

Mabel L. Huglin, former rural St. Charles resident died Dec. 1, 1991, at Bethesda Care Center in Winterset. She was 96. Services were Wednesday at Kale Funeral Home in Truro. The Rev. Bob Epperson of Winterset officiated at the 11 a.m. service. Burial was in the St. Charles Cemetery.

Mrs. Huglin, the daughter of William Edward and Anna Moor Simpson, was born Oct. 3, 1895, in Adair County. She married Fred Huglin on March 9, 1913. The couple were the parents of 2 children.

Mrs. Huglin had lived at Bethesda Care Center for the last ten years. She was a member of the St. Charles Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband in 1974; daughter, Dorothy in 1931; three sisters and four brothers.

Mrs. Huglin is survived by a son, Dale Huglin and his wife, Nola, of Truro; a grandson, Billie Dean Huglin and his wife, Carole, also of Truro and a great-granddaughter, Billie Jo.
