Deanne Howell, Santa Rosa, Calif.

Memorial services for Deanne Howell, 70, were held July 24 at Santa Rosa Memorial Park, Santa Rosa, Calif. She died July 20 at a California hospital.

Born in Iowa March 21, 1921 to Walter and Neola (Felton) Silliman, she graduated from Winterset High School in 1938. She married Irvin Howell July 3, 1939 in Greenfield. She had lived in Santa Rosa, Calif. for 47 years and was a member of the Presbyterian Church of the Roses there.

She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Bonnie Hamlin of Santa Rosa; her mother, Neola Silliman of Iowa; brothers, Dick and Dwite Silliman, both of Iowa, Duane Silliman of Westlake Village, Calif., Doyle Silliman of N.M.; sisters, Darlene Mahan of rural Winterset and Delores Haas of Ohio; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Private burial was held at Santa Rosa Memorial Park in California.
