Rose Mary McKinney Penick, 87, of Adel died Dec. 14, 2004, in a fire at her home.
Services were held Monday, Dec. 20, at St. John’s Catholic Church in rural Adel. Burial was at St. Mary’s Cemetery in rural Dallas Center.
Rose Mary and her husband, John, had resided in St. Charles for 31 years before moving to Bagley in 1986.
She was preceded in death by her husband; two sons, Leonard and Rodney; and two grandsons, Gregory Hodges and Kenneth Lemon.
She is survived by three daughters, Rose Ann Lemon, Marilyn Hodges and Karen Fitzpatrick; three sons, Raymond Penick, John Penick and Michael Penick; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Arrangements were handled by McCalley Funeral Home in Adel.
