ALCY MARIE UTSLER, Winterset

Alcy Marie Utsler, 91, died of a respiratory ailment Dec. 14, 1998, at Winterset Care Center North.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 17, at Winterset Cemetery with Pastor Jon Gaul officiating. Visitation will be held from noon until service time at Collins Funeral Home in Winterset.

Alcy Marie Utsler was born Oct. 11, 1907 in Madison County to George W. and Marie S. (Niendorf) Roberts. She married Elmer L. Utsler Jan. 21, 1931, at Princeton, Mo. She spent most of her lifetime in Madison and Polk counties, having lived for 15 years in the Phoenix and Sacramento areas. Alcy was a retired sales clerk, having been employed by Graham's Department Store in Winterset in the 1920s and at Younkers for 20 years. She was a member of the First Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband and a sister.

She is survived by a brother, Paul V. Roberts of Phoenix, Ariz.; one sister, Dorothy Gray of Winterset; and several nieces and nephews.
