Wednesday, March 4, 1942Truro---(Special)--Harvey B. Woods, who had operated the telephone exchange in Truro since 1924, died at his home here Feb. 24. He was 60 years of age.
Mr. Woods was the son of Charles and Clara Woods, and was born on a farm in Clark county on June 20, 1881.
He was married to Inez Lowe on Dec. 12, 1906. He engaged in farming until 1924, when he moved to Truro to take charge of the telephone exchange, which he had operated for the past 16 years.
He is survived by his wife; one son, Ross Woods; a grandson, Duane Woods; three brothers, Vernon Woods of Lorimor and Loyd and W. T. Woods of Murray.
Funeral services were held last Thursday afternoon from the Union church, in charge of the Rev. Mr. Watson. Burial was made in the Union cemetery.
