Mrs. F. E. Burt, a life-long resident of the Truro neighborhood, died at her home there on Monday of last week at the age of 75 years.

Mrs. Burt was the former Florence Elizabeth Bradshaw, daughter of John and Peree Arnold Bradshaw, and was born northeast of Truro, Feb. 8, 1871.

She was married Aug. 30, 1896 to Francis E. Burt. They were the parents of two sons, Fred O. Burt and John W. Burt, both of whom survive their mother.

She had been a member of the Truro Christian church since early life.

She and her husband had observed their Golden Wedding anniversary on Aug. 30 of this year.

In addition to her husband and the two sons, Mrs. Burt leaves three grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Dillie Collins.

Funeral rites were held last Thursday from the Christian church, in charge of the Rev. Verne Willey, and burial was made in the Hartman cemetery.
