November 8, 1972DUTCH VANDERMEY Dies at Osceola
Clarence (Dutch) Vandermey, a long-time resident of the Truro community, died Friday, November 3, 1972, at the Clarke County Hospital in Osceola. He was 78 years of age.
Mr. Vandermey was born in Jasper County on August 28, 1894, a son of John and Sarah Meekma Vandermey.
He was a member of the Dutch Reformed Church.
Mr. Vandermey never married. He is survived by two sisters, Dorothy and Elsie Vandermey, both of Truro.
Funeral services were held Sunday from the Kale Funeral home in Truro, conducted by the Rev. Richard Hempenius. Burial was made in the Fields cemetery.
