Wednesday, June 12, 1968MAGGIE VANDERBURG Dies at 82 Years
Mrs. Maggie Vanderburg of Winterset died last Friday, June 7, 1968, at Memorial hospital here. She was 82 years of age.
Mrs. Vanderburg had been a resident of Madison county for 52 years. She was the former Maggie Belle Reese, daugher of Thogarmah and Sarah Ann Sales Reese, and was born in Lebanon, Kansas on Jan. 12, 1886.
She was married Feb. 2, 1916, to Arthur Vanderburg. His death occurred in 1942.
She was a member of the United Presbyterian church, in which she was active in he women's society.
Nearest surviving relative is a sister, Mrs. Ada Newhouse, of Hastings, Nebraska.
Funeral services were held Monday from the Wilson Funeral home, conducted by the Rev. John E. Fink, pastor of the First United Presbyterian church of Winterset. Burial as made in the Winterset cemetery.
