LILLIAN COMSTOCK, Marshalltown

Lillian Comstock, 92, of Marshalltown and formerly of Winterset, died Oct. 18, 2004, at Marshalltown Medical & Surgical Center.

Graveside services were held Thursday, Oct. 21, at Winterset Cemetery.

Lillian Comstock was born March 7, 1912, in Winterset to Walter and Daisy (Wright) Beem. She was raised and educated in the Winterset area. Lillian was united in marriage to Wayne Weaver and moved to Des Moines in 1956. Following the death of Wayne, she later married Charles Comstock in Nashua. She had resided in Marshalltown since 2000.

She was preceded in death by both husbands; three sisters, Alice Beem, Mary Crawford and Gladys Callison; and three brothers, Donald, Everett and Francis Beem.

She is survived by one daughter, Barbara Frederick of Marshalltown; and three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Arrangements were handled by Pursel-Davis Funeral Home & Crematory in Marshalltown.
