Eunice E. Hood, Winterset

Funeral services for Eunice E. Hood, 99, of Winterset were held today (Wednesday) at 11 a.m. at Dunn's Funeral Home in Des Moines. Mrs. Hood died May 28, 1993 at Madison County Memorial Hospital. She had been a resident at Bethesda Care Center since 1991.

Eunice Ella Hood was born March 4, 1894 in Carroll County to Henry B. and Nova Ella (Bower) Webber. She lived in Des Moines most of her life before moving to Winterset.

A retired homemaker, Eunice E. Hood was a member of the Auburn Chapter of the Order of the Easter Star, Daughters of the Nile and Union Park Christian Church in Des Moines.

Survivors include two daughters, Dorothy Agnew, Winterset and Beth Hicks, Hanover Park, Ill.; one grandson and three great-grandchildren.

Burial was in Hyland Cemetery, Bayard.
