Wednesday, March 10, 1971ALICE ROBINSON Dies At 96 Years
Mrs. Alice Robinson of Winterset died Friday, March 5, 1971, at Madison Manor here. She was 96 years of age.
Mrs. Robinson was a life-long resident of Madison County. She was born here Aug. 17, 1874, a daughter of Nathaniel and Catherine Collier Foster. She was married here May 5, 1892, to Mack Robinson. His death occurred in 1930.
Mrs. Robinson was a member of the Seventh Day Aventist church.
She was the last surviving member of a family of nine children.
Mrs. Robinson leaves five children: Mrs. Irvin Simmons of Winterset, Everett Robinson of Hinsdale, Ill., Mrs. Ralph Giddings of Ft. Jones, Calif., Mrs. Paul Jamison of Winterset, and Mrs. Clifton Hiatt of Medford, Ore. She also leaves 15 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
Funeral services were held Monday from the Collins Funeral home in Winterset, conducted by Pastor Craig Hollingsworth of Perry. Burial was made in the Peru cemetery.
