NORTH DAKOTA BURIAL FOR MRS. HOLMES, 81

Funeral services for Mrs. Walter Holmes, a native of Madison county, were held Feb. 13th at Hensler, North Dakota. Mrs. Holmes died Feb. 12 at the home of a daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ross Cullen, in Hensler. She was 81 years of age.

She had been an invalid the past eight years.

Mayme Holmes was born in Madison county on Feb. 5, 1865. She attended school in this county and on April 23, 1906 she was married to Walter Holmes. In 1916 they moved to North Dakota, settling on a farm near Hensler. Mr. Holmes died in 1963.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Cullen and Mrs. Walter Fischer of Kirkland, Washington; one brother, Frank Brown of Fullerton, California; one sister, Mrs. H. C. Frederickson of Fergus Falls, Minn.
