BERT McCLEEARY, Former resident Dies in California

Bert McCleeary, a native of Madison county and member of a well-known family here, died Jan. 30, 1968, in California, where he had lived for many years. Death followed a heart attack. He was 81 years of age.

He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. C. A. McCleary of near Winterset. He is survived by his wife, Fleeta; a daughter, Mrs. Helen Cleaveland of California; a son Robert McCleeary of California; four grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Josephine Martin and Mrs. Adelaide Moore of Winterset and Mrs. Nell Scarborough of San Bernardino, Calif.; and a brother, Alfred McCleeary of Carlisle.

Funeral services and burial were held in California.
