Gary Holliday, 52, of Westminster, Colo., died Feb. 14, 2001 in Thornton, Colo.

Funeral services were held Saturday Feb. 17 in Denver, Colo.

Gary Holliday was born Oct. 16, 1948 in Des Moines to Kenneth and Alberta Holliday. He married Sandra Holliday on Aug. 3, 1968 in Winterset. Having a special interest in the education of young people, Gary was a member of several Iowa education and coaching associations.

He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Holly Holliday of Westminster, Colo., and Heather Holliday of Aurora, Colo.; his parents, Kenneth and Alberta Holliday of Winterset; two brothers, Randy Holliday (wife Debbie) of Westminster, Colo., and Rusty Holliday (wife Sheri) of Winterset; and a sister Janet Palmeri (husband Tom) of Nampa, Idaho.
