ROLLA H. CUMINGS Dies At Indianola

Rolla Howard Cumings, 66, of Prole, died Thursday, July 7, 1966, at Indianola Nursing home.

Mr. Cumings was a native of Henry county, where he was born Oct. 22, 1899, a son of David and Nancy McKee Cumings. His acive life was spent in farming in Madison county. In recent years he had lived in Warren county.

He had been active in the ASCS, and had served on his local school board.

He was married in 1918 to Alice E. Strable. His second marriage, in 1958, was to Georgia Fox, who survives him. He also leaves four children, Mrs. Dale Letz, of Winterset, Alvin Cumings of Prole, Mrs. Bernard Hollingsworth of Winterset, and Mrs. Bill Green of Truro; in addition to 10 grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Nevin Landers of Winterset.

Funeral services were held Saturday from the Martensdale Community church, conducted by the Rev. Donald Freeman. Burial was made in Blair Chapel cemetery.
