October 1978FATHER MARTIN VOSS Passes Away
Martin G. Voss, 80, of Cumberland, Iowa, died Friday, September 29 at the Cass County Memorial Hospital.
Surviving are his wife; a son, Remmer Voss of Winterset; a brother, Siebel Voss of Germany; two sisters, Mina and Etta, both of Germany; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He wa preceded in death by his parents and five brothers.
The funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, October 2, 1978, at the First Lutheran Church, north of Cumberland with Pastor David Shemm officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery.
