FRANK VOWELL Dies At Age of 83 Years

Frank Vowell, formerly of Guthrie Center, died Monday, Dec. 4, 1972 at Madison Manor South in Winterset. He was 83 years of age.

Since the death of his wife in 1969, Mr. Vowell had been making his home with his son and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Harrison Vowell of near Peru. Recently he had been a patient at Madison Manor.

He leaves two sons, Harrison Vowell of near Peru and George Vowell of Waukee; six grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Dec. 7 from the Christian Church in Guthrie Center, with Rev. Jerry Palmer officiating. Burial was made in the Peru Cemetery.
