Anna E. McKenzie, who lived in Winterset between 1908 and 1918, died Jan. 3 in Des Moines where she had lived the last 17 years. She was 66 years of age.

Miss McKenzie was born at Lacona on Dec. 5, 1879, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John McKenzie. She came with her parents to Winterset in 1908. Following the death of her father, in 1918, Miss McKenzie and her mother moved to Oskaloosa, where she lived until going to Des Moines.

Miss McKenzie is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Katheryne Marshall, and Mrs. R. T. Stout of Des Moines and Mrs. Ralph McLees of Winterset; and a brother, W. L. McKenzie of Des Moines.

Funeral services were held in Des Moines and burial was made in the Winterset cemetery, Saturday, Jan. 5th.
