FRANK M. VEVERKA, Earlham

Frank Martin Veverka, son of Joseph and Marie Veverka, was born May 26, 1897 in Madison County, Iowa. After a lingering illness, he passed away on October 20, 1979 at Adel Acres Care Center.

Frank lived all his life on a farm east of Earlham. After the death of his parents, his nephew, Donald Mapes, assisted him with farming and he and his family cared for him until the time of his death.

He is survived by three sisters; Emma DeVore of Princeton, Illinois, Bessie Mapes of Earlham, and Lucille Bosley of Des Moines. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. His parents and two sisters preceded him in death.

Services were held October 23, 1979 at 10:30 a.m. at the McKee Funeral Home in Earlham, Iowa. Interment was at the Earlham Cemetery.
