MABEL TORBET, Truro

Services for Mabel Torbet, 91, Rogers, Ark., where she died April 10, 1987, at the St. Marys Memorial Hospital, were held Tuesday, April 14, at the Kale Funeral Home in Truro with the Rev. Ann Louise Weisenfluh officiating. Burial was at the Peru Cemetery.

Born July 16, 1895 at Sterling, Ill., she was the daughter of John and Annie Capp Little. She was married May 29, 1912 at Ethan, S.D., to Ernest Torbet.

Mrs. Torbet was a member of the United Methodist Church at Peru.

Survivors include a daughter, Thelma Roe and husband Raymond of Rogers, Ark.; sons, Donald and wife Gladys of Perry, and Kenneth and wife Mary of Marble Hill, Mo.; six grandchildren, 19 great- grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1971, three brothers and three sisters.
