Mary Regina "Jean" Hogan,97, formerly of Iowa City, died Friday in Bethesda Care Center, Winterset, after a long illness.

Services: 10 a.m. Tuesday, St. Patrick's Catholic Church.

Burial: Arden Cemetery, Arden. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Callahan Funeral Home where there will be a parish vigil service at 7.

Survivors include a daughter, Mary Beth Flander of Winterset; and two sons, Eugene of Midway, Ark., and Carroll of New York and Iowa City.

Mary Hogan, Winterset

Mary Regina "Jean" Hogan, 97 died July 23, 1993 in Winterset. Funeral services were held July 27 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Iowa City. Burial was at Arden.

Mrs. Hogan was born October 15, 1895 in Iowa City to John and Mary (Hoyt) Carroll. She married Edward Hogan, August 7, 1918 in Iowa City. She was a homemaker.

Preceding her in death were her husband, one brother and one sister.

Surviving relatives include two sons, Eugene Hogan and wife Katherine of Midway, Ark., and Carroll Hogan of Iowa City; one daughter, Beth Flander and husband Len of Winterset; nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
