Delbert Hircock, 72, of Hoquiam, Wash., died of complications of hip surgery Oct. 6, 1997 at Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen, Wash. Services are pending at this time.
He was born in Winterset and lived in the area most of his life before moving to Hoquiam several years ago.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Doris; four sons, John Hircock of Hoquiam, Wash., Jerry Hircock of Olympia, Wash., Mark Hircock of Hoquiam, Wash., Jim Hircock of Lake Side, Ariz.; one daughter, Dixie Hircock of Hoquiam, Wash.; three sisters, Ethel McMains of Des Moines, Norma Day of Harlingen, Texas, Jean Jeffs of Winterset and 11 grandchildren.
