Wednesday, October 20, 1965BOY DIES AFTER FOUR MONTH COMA
Marvin Lee Hindman, 8-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Leland Hindman of near Earlham, died Saturday, Oct. 16, at a Des Moines nursing home. He had been in a coma since June 22 when the hay trailer on which he was riding at the farm of his parents, overturned, crushing him underneath.
The little boy had lived his short life in the Earlham community. A son of Leland and Irma Beckett Hindman, he was born there Dec. 15, 1956.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his maternal grandparents; a brother, DeWayne, aged 13; and a sister, Carolyn Kay, aged 6 months.
Funeral services were held this Tuesday from the Worthington church, conducted by the pastor, the Rev. Milton Haedt. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
