A lifetime resident of Madison county, Andrew R. Walker, died September 6, 1977 at the age of 54. Born on September 7, 1922, Andrew was the son of Otis Franklin and Maude Elizabeth Robison Walker.
On October 6, 1946 he was united in marriage to Aurilla May Rudd. A salesman for Farm Service, Mr. Walker was a member of the Masonic Lodge, V.F.W. and the Methodist church.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, Larry and Mark of Winterset; three daughters, Sheryl Henley of Maxwell, Brenda Little of Charles City, and Marlene Waddingham of Macksburg; and eight grandchildren.
His parents preceded him in death.
Services were held Friday, September 9, at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Byron Ayers officiating. Military graveside services were conducted by V.F.W. Post No. 8192 at the Pleasantview Cemetery.
