Maud M. Hildebrand, Winterset

Services for Maud M. Hildebrand, 95, Winterset, who died Aril 2 at the Madison County Hospital were held Saturday morning, April 6 at the Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. John Shaull officiating. Burial was at the Winterset Cemetery.

Born at Pitzer Feb. 15, 1890, she was the daughter of Joseph and Loura Weaver Young. She was married to Earl Hiildebrand in 1908 and was a lifetime resident of the area and a member of the First Baptist Church.

Mrs. Hildebrand was a cook in restaurants for 35 years and was a resident of the Care Center North at the time of her death.

Survivors include a son, Orie Hildebrand of Winterset; a sister, Edna Vincent of Des Moines; six grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a son, three brothers and a sister.
