Greg Hibdon, 69, of Winterset died of cancer June 26, 1999 at the Kavanagh House in Des Moines.
There will be no funeral services but a jam session and potluck to celebrate his life will be held at noon on Sunday, July 25, at the community building located at the Madison County Fairgrounds in Winterset.
Greg Hibdon was a veteran of the Korean War. He also was retired from the Madison County Secondary Road Department.
He is survived by his wife, Kit Hibdon; one sister, Ruth Wagley of Patterson; and one brother, Emmitt of Lorimor.
