HAROLD RAY WAGNER, Winterset

Harold Ray Wagner, 75, died of cancer June 17, 2000, at Integrated Health Services in Winterset.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 20, at the First United Presbyterian Church in Winterset with the Rev. Donald Frank officiating. Burial was at Winterset Cemetery.

Harold Wagner was born June 1, 1925, in Winterset to Carl and Mary (Addy) Wagner. His marriage to Lois Cunningham took place Sept. 29, 1946, in Cherokee. He was employed with Des Moines Winterset Monument as a stone installer for 32 years. He also had farmed and worked for the railroad. Harold was a member of Odd Fellows Lodge 136 and Rebekah Lodge 360, both of Winterset, and the First United Presbyterian Church in Winterset where he was an elder.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.

He is survived by his wife of Winterset; four sons, Craig Wagner (wife Jean) of Lorimor, Randall Wagner and Jodi Mobley of Fontanelle, Bruce Wagner (fiancee Deb Thompson) of Barnes City and Kirk Wagner (wife Suzanne) of Greenfield; a sister, Thelma Cain (husband Curly) of Lenox; 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements were handled by Ochiltree Funeral Service & Aftercare in Winterset.
