DORRIS HETRICK DIED SATURDAY

Funeral Services Held on Tuesday for Former Resident

Mrs. Dorris Hetrick, a native of Madison county, died Saturday, April 6, in a Des Moines hospital. She was 62 years of age.

Mrs. Hetrick was the former Dorris Jones, daughter of Edward and Letta Cox Jones. She was born here April 14, 1905 but moved to Hartington, Nebr., as a small child, spending her early life there. She graduated from Wayne Teacher's college at Wayne, Nebr.

She was married to Stanley Hetrick, and they moved to California, where he died in 1942. She then moved to Des Moines in 1943.

She is survived by her father Edward W. Jones of Winterset; and three brothers, Millard Jones of South Sioux City, Nebr., Donald Jones of Calif., and W. E. (Al) Jones of Winterset.

Funeral services were held this Tuesday from the Collins Funeral Home in Winterset, conducted by the Rev. William E. Bowles, pastor of the First Christian church. Burial was made in the North McDonald cemetery.
