MRS. JANE M. WACHT, Former Resident Dies in Arizona

Mrs. Jane M. Wacht, formerly of Madison county, died Jan. 29, 1967 at Tempe, Ariz., where she had lived since 1956.

Mrs. Wacht was the former Jane Burkhead, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Burkhead of this county. They formerly lived at Earlham, and near Monroe Center.

She is survived by her husband, Richard H. Wacht; five daughters, Mrs. Carol Schroeder, Mrs. Jon Chick, Mrs. William C. Barton, and Cindy Wacht, all of Tempe, and Mrs. Raymond Kohlhaus of Baltimore, Md., and her mother, Mrs. Winifred Burkhead of Winterset; four grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Charles Adams of Winterset.

Funeral services were held from the First Baptist church of Tempe with burial made in East Resthaven cemetery there.
