Dorothy Lucille Henrichs, 70, of Thayer died of a heart attack May 17, 1999 at her residence.

Funeral services were held today (Wednesday, May 19) at 2 p.m. at Kale Funeral Home in Osceola with Pastor Marty Burgus officiating. Burial was at Murray Cemetery.

Dorothy Henrichs was born Aug. 9, 1928 to John and Blanche (Jennings) Stephenson of Van Meter. She was educated in country schools of rural Peru. She married Forrest Henrichs on Dec. 17, 1947 at Peru. A homemaker, she had resided in Thayer since 1985. Prior to 1985, she lived in Maxwell. Dorothy was a member of the Chit Chat Club of Winterset and Peru and the May Tea Club of the UMC in Peru. She formerly attended the Kingsway Cathedral in Des Moines.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.

She is survived by her husband; one daughter, Connie Worthman (husband Bob) of Chariton; one son, Rick Henrichs (wife Helen) of Des Moines; one sister, Mary Agan (husband Everett) of Winterset; one brother, Glenn Stephenson (wife Betty) also of Winterset; one sister-in-law, Jackie Carey of Winterset; four grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
