Pearl Elithe Heitz, Lorimor

Pearl Elithe Heitz of Lorimor died at her residence Thursday, Oct. 25, at the age of 87. Funeral services were Saturday afternoon, Oct. 27, at the Grace Baptist Church in Winterset with Pastors Gary Worsham and Harold Constant officiating. Burial was at Barney Cemetery, north of Lorimor.

Born Feb. 18, 1897 at Hopeville, Iowa, she was the daughter of Oscar Perley and Mary Ann Sylvina Grover Reynolds. Raised around Lorimor, she graduated from Lorimor High School and then moved to Des Moines. She lived around Indianola, Osceola and then Des Moines until returning to Lorimor in 1960.

Mrs. Heitz was a member of the Barney Christian Church and attended the Grace Baptist Church in Winterset until physically unable.

She is survived by her daughter Mary Ann Harper of rural Lorimor, eight grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, one son, two infant grandsons and one granddaughter.
