Carol E. Haymond, Omaha, Nebr.

Carol (Wadle) Haymond, 45, of Omaha, Nebr., formerly of St. Mary's died Thursday, February 11, 1988 at Clarkson Hospital in Omaha, Neb. following heart surgery.

Mrs. Haymond was born in Melcher, Iowa on February 3, 1943. She lived most of her life in the St. Mary's area and graduated from St. Joseph's Academy in 1961. Following graduation, she was employed in Des Moines by American Republic Insurance and the Northwestern Bell Telephone Co.

On Nov. 27, 1964, she was married to Billy Eugene Haymond. After their marriage they moved to Council Bluffs where Bill was employed by Sutherland Lumber Co. They then moved to Lincoln, Nebr. where a son, Terry, was born on November 18, 1973.

They moved to the Omaha area in 1982 where Carol spent much of her time doing volunteer and fund raising work for her church.

Services were held on February 13th, 1988 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Springfield, Nebr., with burial at the Winterset Cemetery. She is survived by her husband Bill and son Terry of Omaha; her parents, Ferman and Luella Wadle (Ohnemus) of Indianola; 7 brothers and 2 sisters-Cliff of Redfield, Evelyn of Adel, Larry of St. Marys, Tom of Norwalk, Dick of Martensdale, Joyce Frericks of Olathe, KS. Pat of Mobile, Ala., Lou of Ankeny, and Lon of Des Moines; Bill's parents, Eugene and Hazel Haymond and sister Betty Bumbarger all of Winterset.
