Edna Nellis Hawk, 77, died November 30, 1993 in her home in Rosendale, Mo. Services were held on December 4, 1993 at Breit and Hawkins Chapel in Savannah, Mo.

She was born January 18, 1915 in Fulton, South Dakota. Her maiden name was Kinkennon. She was a homemaker and lived in Earlham until her husband passed away.

ROSENDALE, Mo.—Edna Azel Hawk, 78, Rosendale, died unexpectedly Tuesday, Nov. 30, 1993, at her home.

Mrs. Hawk was born in Fulton, S.D., and lived the past 14 years in Rosendale.

She married Donald E. Nellis in 1933. He died in 1943.

In 1978 she married Harold Hawk. He died in 1987.

Mrs. Hawk also was preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph and Wesley Kinkennon.

Surviving: two sons, Dale Nellis of Bethany, Mo., and Claude Nellis of Rosendale; four daughters, Beverly Post of Cumberland, Iowa, Marilyn Walker of Milliken, Colo., Barbara Werner of Springfield, Mo., and Lucille Wrigley of Maysville, Mo.; four stepsons, Gary, Jerry, Junior and Leroy Hawk, addresses unknown; a stepdaughter, Sue Hawk of St. Joseph; two brothers, Leo Kinkennon of Earlham, Iowa, and Curly Kinkennon of Warsaw, Mo.; 14 grandchildren; several step-grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several step-great-grandchildren.

Service: 10 a.m. Saturday, Breit & Hawkins Funeral Home, Savannah, No. Burial at a cemetery in Earlham. Family visitation after 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, where friends may call after 8 a.m. Friday.
