ULRIE WARING, Former Resident Dies in California

Urlie Waring, former resident of Madison county, died July 19, 1962, at Long Beach, Calif., according to word received here. He was 45 years of age, and had been ill three month with lukemia.

Mr. Waring was born at Reasonor on April 22, 1917, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Jess Waring. He moved to Madison County with his parents, and spent his early life here. He was a graduate of Lorimor high school.

During World War II he served in the U. S. army in Germany under General Patton. He was employed by Iowa Power and Light company in Des Moines until three years ago, when he moved to Long Beach

Surviving are his wife; two sons, Fred, aged 17, and Greg, aged 13; his parents, a sister, Mrs. Carl Patterson of Norwalk; and a brother, Jake Waring of San Francisco, Calif.

Funeral services were held Monday in Long Beach, with burial in Rose Hill Memorial gardens.
