Dorothy Hanks, Indianola

Dorothy M. Hanks, 88, of Indianola, died June 30, 1994 of a stroke at her home at the Indianola Good Samaritan Center. Funeral services were held July 5, 1994 at the Grace Baptist Church in Winterset. Burial was at the Resthaven Cemetery in West Des Moines.

She was born in Polk County. Prior to Indianola, she was a resident of Winterset. She had been a cook at the Franklin School in Des Moines and was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Winterset.

Local surviving relatives include one daughter, Mary Hope of Winterset.
