KAY WEAVER, West Des Moines

Kay McCoy Weaver, 63, died July 26, 2005, at the Kavanagh House in Des Moines.

Funeral services were held Friday, July 29, at the Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church in Des Moines.

Kay Weaver was a 1960 graduate of Winterset High School. She was retired from Principal Financial’s mortgage department. Kay was a member of the Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church and active in the ladies’ Bible study. She also was a volunteer at the Kavanagh House on Grand as well as Iowa Methodist Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by her father, Don McCoy.

She is survived by her husband, Larry, of West Des Moines; two sons, Mark Weaver of Urbandale and John Weaver of Cedar Rapids; one daughter, Lori Lower of Davenport; her mother, Viola McCoy of Winterset; four sisters, Anne Fiscus of Marshalltown, Jean Bristow of Coralville, Mary McCoy of The Woodlands, Texas, and Peggy Haskin of Belmar, N.J.
