MRS. CHARLES WEAVER Buried at Winterset

Mrs. M. Weaver of Ames, a native of Madison county, died Sept. 22, 1965, at Ames. She was 81 years of age. She had been ill for several years, and suffered a severe heart attack six days before her death.

Mrs. Weaver was the former Nellie N. Smith, daughter of Asa B. and Mary M. Smith. She was born in this county Nov. 26, 1883.

Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Lema M. Weaver, and a son, Calvin S. Weaver, all of Ames; and a brother, Roy A. Smith of Winterset.

Funeral services were held Sept. 25, from the Primitive Baptist church near Winterset, with burial in the cemetery there.

Rites set for Ames resident

Mrs. Nellie N. Weaver, 81, 156 Campus Ave., died about 8 p.m. Wednesday at Mary Greeley Hospital after an illness of about two years.

She was born Nov. 26, 1883 in Madison County and came to Ames in 1926.

She is survived by her husband, Charles M. Weaver; a son, Calvin, 146 Hyland Ave.; a daughter, Lema Weaver, 3021 Woodland St. and a brother, Roy A. Smith, Winterset.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday from the Primitive Baptist Church, Winterset, with the Rev. C. D. Talbert, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Primitive Baptist Cemetery.

The body will lie in state at the Adams Funeral Home Friday afternoon and evening.
