DEATH STRIKES ON VACATION TRIP

Lester Warren Stricken by Heart Attack in Arkansas

Lester Warren, well known farmer of the Barney community died Sunday, April 27, while on a vacation motor trip with his wife, enroute to Texas. His death occurred at a tourist cabin near Marshall, Ark., following a heart attack there. He had been afflicted with a heart ailment for the last three years. He was 53 years of age.

Mr. Warren was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Sam Warren of Winterset and was a long-time resident of this county.

Surviving are his wife; his son, Donald Warren at home; a brother, Orvie Warren of Peru; and a sister, Mrs. Glee Hircock of Winterset.

Funeral services will be held this Thursday at 2 p.m. from the Barney church, and burial will be made in the cemetery there.
