Services for Mary E. Ham, 87, rural Winterset, who died Thursday, May 4, at the Madison County Memorial Hospital were held Monday, May 8, at the Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Greg Sharp officiating. Burial was at the Winterset Cemetery.
Born at Duncan, Ill., on Oct. 3, 1901, she was the daughter of John and Nannie Biggs Graves. she was married to Ralph E. Ham on Jan. 18, 1922 at Winterset.
She was a homemaker and had lived here since 1945, coming from Lorimor. She was a former member of the Zion Federated Church and the Ladies Aid.
Survivors include sons, Donald of Ravendale, Calif., and Larry of Winterset; a daughter, Mrs. John (Fern) Algoe of Peru; 11 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a brother and a sister.
