Pearl Hakes, Dallas Center

Funeral services for Pearl Hakes, 84, were held Mon., Jan. 13 at Brandt Funeral Home, Dallas Center. She died of a heart ailment January 8 at Des Moines General Hospital.

Born in Earlham, she had lived in Dallas Center since 1944. She was a homemaker and member of the Rebekah Lodge.

Surviving are three sons, Edwin and Kenneth, both of Dallas Center and Dennis of Ankeny; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Burial was at Earlham Cemetery.
