Ralph S. Griswold, 86, of Pasadena, Calif., died of cardiac arrest July 22, 2000.
A memorial service was held at La Canada Presbyterian Church, with interment at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Glendale.
Ralph Griswold was born Nov. 26, 1913 to Orville and Mabel (Kivett) Griswold of Macksburg. A graduate of Macksburg High School, he moved to California in the late 1930s. Ralph married Ella Nora Simonsen on June 25, 1939, and had resided in Pasadena since that time. He owned a dental laboratory in Pasadena, remaining actively involved in the business.
He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and two sisters.
He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Noralee Minucci of Rome, Italy, and Denise Morse of Cambria, Calif.; a sister, Nell Walter of Lenox; and three grandchildren.
