Services for Herbert E. Weese, 76, Winterset, who died July 12, 1990, at the Madison Cunty Memorial Hospital, were held Saturday, July 14, at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Jhn Shaull officiating. Burial was at the Resthaven Cemetery in West Des Moines.
Born in Athelstan, Iowa on September 30, 1913, he was the son of Enoch and Minnie Tucker Weese. He was a television repairman and had lived here since 1945, coming from Bedford.
He was married to Dorothy Parker on July 30, 1938 at Grant City, Mo.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Edward Weese of Des Moines; a daughter, Evelyn Schirm of Urbandale; brothers, Bea Weese of Athelstan and Edgar Weese of Lenox, sisters, Jessie Norton of Willow Springs, Mo., Edna Key of Blockton and Madolyn Loghry of Osceola; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a grandson, two brothers and a sister.
