A memorial service will be held at the Winterset Cemetery at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 15, for Ada L. Griffith, 82, who died Sept. 1. Officiating will be the Rev. John Hanzalik.
She was born Apr. 14, 1900 in Madison County to Charles Hiran Leach and Nettie Huss Leach. She married David Griffith Oct. 17, 1917 in Des Moines where the couple lived most of their married life.
They moved to California in June 1981. Mr. Griffith died Dec. 31, 1981. Surviving is son, Rhyno Griffith of California.
