Graveside services were held at the Winterset Cemetery this afternoon (Wednesday) at 1 p.m. for Warren W. Gregory of St. Louis, Missouri, with Rev. Paul Bousfield officiating. Mr. Gregory died of a sudden heart attack Saturday, January 29th, as he and his wife were enroute home from a trip in the east.
He was born April 15, 1904, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Gregory of Winterset. He graduated from the Winterset High School with the class of 1922 and received his degree in electrical engineering from Iowa State University. He later received his Master's degree from the University of Pittsburg. He was a design engineer with Westinghouse for several years, but was retired.
He was a member of the Central Presbyterian Church in St. Louis.
He was a member of Pi Kappa Phi social fraternity and an engineering fraternity.
He is survived by his wife, Lelia Dabney Gregory and daughter, Lynne Gregory Jackels, two grandsons, Gregory Scott and Dvid Matthew Jackels and his son-in-law, Robert Jackels.
