Wednesday, January 3, 1973Frank C. Schulz, a resident of North Ward Plaza in Winterset, died there Wednesday, Dec. 27, at the age of 73 years.
Mr. Schulz was born at Hebron, in Adair county, on May 8, 1899, a son of Otto and Christina Luers Schulz. He lived in Madison county for 47 years. In 1965 he retired from farming. He lived in Macksburg before moving to Winterset in 1971.
Mr. Schulz was married Nov. 14, 1919, to Thera G. Callison, who survives him.
In addition to his wife, he leaves two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Kirsher of Ashland, Ore., and Mrs. Eloise Eyerly of Macksburg. He also leaves five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and two brothers, W. S. Schulz of Sidney, Nebr., and Ray Schulz of Winterset.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Mrs. Arelene Bryan; a grandson, Ben Eyerly; and three sisters and a brother.
Funeral services were held Saturday from the Collins Funeral home in Winterset, conducted by the Rev. Charles Updike, pastor of the Winterset Foursquare church. Burial was made in Moon cemetery at Macksburg.
