MARY GRAHAM OF WINTERSET DIES

Madisoon County Resident for Most of Life Was 72 Years of Age

Mrs. Zeller Graham, a well-known resident of the Winterset community for many years, died Sunday, Nov. 25, at Memorial hospital in Winterset. She was 72 years of age.

Mrs Graham was the former Mary MCauley, daughter of Alexander and Rebecca Montgomery McCauley. She was born June 23, 1890, at Altoona, but had lived most of her life in Madison county.

She was married at Winterset on Dec. 25, 1915 to Zeller Graham. They farmed in Lincoln township for many years, but had lived in Winterset since 1950.

She was a member of the Winterset Christian Church and of the Good Neighbor club.

She leaves her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Rodney DeWitt of Winterset and Mrs. Joel Thorson of Story City; a son, James Graham of Houston, Tex.; five grandchildren; a brother, Dick McCauley of Winterset; and two sisters, Mrs. Rebecca Francis of Winterset and Mrs. George Krebiehl of Chicago.

Funeral services were held this Tuesday from the Winterset Christian church, in charge of the pastor, the Rev. Robert Owens. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
